Frequently Asked Questions

How are your pieces made? What is die-cutting? Do you work in any other mediums?

The majority of our pieces are made using a combination of flat printing with hand and die-cutting. Die-cutting is a way of cutting a design into a variety of mediums including, but not limited to, paper, fabric and magnets.  I die-cut my pieces using a machine with a blade on a movable track. The original hand drawn design is sent to the machine from my computer, and the die-cutter then cuts the design into  whatever medium is being used.  I then usually go over the design with an Xacto knife to clean up the edges, remove any chads that remained, and in some cases, to add extra embellishments to the design.

We currently also provide flat printed cards, designs, prints and envelopes. We are also always exploring new mediums, so feel free to reach out to us if there is a type of card that you don't see on our website and we will be happy to work with you to the best of our ability.
